Creative Bulletin n.102

This week we've been like in the card II of intรนiti: in gestation. We didn't communicate much on the outside (from the outside we seemed still, almost absent) and yet inside there was continuous work ๐Ÿ˜‰ Andrea immersed himself in Scaffold, the project we are developing together with the European Commission to make teachers' lives easier, while Matteo is writing the companion booklet for BAD, our Business-Aware Design canvas.

๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ How we felt this week

Good and surprised. We forcibly unplugged ourselves from all the usual worries and then realised that the world went on anyway ๐Ÿ˜‚ It also kind of โ€œpisses you offโ€ as a feeling because it's one of those moments of clarity where you look back and ask yourself "But in the last two months what have I been doing? What have I really been doing?" The answer is equally disturbing: we've been worrying because we felt like we had to worry about something. A role play? If you're an entrepreneur do you always have to worry about your business?

๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ What we would like to do

To really believe that if you do what makes you vibrate, good things will come. Unfortunately, we live in that pattern of 'things are built with at least 8 hours of work a day' and we fall into it again and again, as if we are addicted to it. Yet in three years we have had proof and counter-evidence of that almost mystical phenomenon whereby worries lead to nothing but headaches, while positive intensity โ€“ giving the right amount of time to create โ€“ really brings us closer to new opportunities, new friends, even a profit that seems to come effortlessly ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“ What we learnt

The old world โ€“ the one we were born into and were brought up in โ€“ no longer exists. We have different needs, different perspectives; the patterns we were taught (and insist on applying) have become irrelevant.

๐ŸŒˆ Takeaway: hic abundant leones.
They wrote it on maps, on the borders of the known worlds. Here lions abound. And at sea, at the end of the horizon, they were convinced the world would end. Well, that's the great challenge: get on a ship, don't stop at the first islands and keep going. And to have faith that at the end there is not a waterfall falling into nothingness but our new world โ›ต๏ธ

With โค๏ธ,
Matteo and Andrea
