Creative Bulletin n.232

I've started writing again in the mornings. I took a few months off for the launch of The Creative Ambush, and now I've decided to start a new novel 💪

Cultivating a passion. It's not easy to dedicate time to something we truly enjoy. Carving out a couple of hours in the morning or evening to write isn't a walk in the park, but it rejuvenates me both mentally and physically. After all, if we don't allow ourselves to do what we love, what's the point of all our other efforts?

When energy becomes overwhelming. Especially in the early stages of a project, our own enthusiasm can become hard to manage.

For me, this is a period of big beginnings—three new products to finalize, another warehouse to manage, a new novel—and yesterday I felt my mind stretching too far, trying to contain everything, branching out impossibly...

It's a feeling similar to what heroes and heroines in stories experience when they enter a new world and are overwhelmed by what they can't yet comprehend. We ask ourselves: "Can I handle all this?"

🌈 Creative takeaway: embrace the energy with strength and courage

Not knowing where to go is the essence of the creative process. Feeling like you're drowning and not being sure you can resurface.

I've rewritten the first chapter of the novel over and over until I found the character's tone. I got anxious because I couldn't figure out the shipping service dynamics. I don't even know the colors and names of the new products yet, and I'm terrified I won't find the right ones.

It's part of the game. The waves that seem to engulf us are nothing more than our own energies, our desire to create and express ourselves.
We are the stormy sea, the volcano wanting to erupt.

We must embrace all of this with great, immense courage.
