Creative Bulletin n.234

The Creative Ambush is spreading like wildfire across the globe. This is the first time one of our products has been purchased with such speed and "ease": usually, we have to struggle to show people the quality of our work; this time, we can hardly keep up with the demand.

I have the miraculous feeling that I wrote the right thing at the right time ❤️🎉

Foreign Translations. Requests are beginning to come in from foreign publishers to translate The Creative Ambush into their languages, adopt it, and spread it in their countries. It feels like a dream!

If you want to help us spread the word, if you know publishers and literary agents in other parts of the world and would like to connect us, we would be very grateful 🙏

Serenity and Conflict. This morning I woke up feeling irritated because it's Wednesday, I had a turbulent day yesterday, and I forgot to write the bulletin. I muttered and told myself, "Is it possible that I can't have a moment of peace? That I always have to chase after myself?"

Then I did Osho's Dynamic Meditation, the least serene activity one can do in the morning 😅, and I realized that the concepts of serenity, comfort, and all that jazz are a sham.

If I calmly and quietly sat down every Tuesday at 2:00 PM to write the bulletin, what would come out of it? A flat, rational, half-dead report. Something I would no longer want to write.

Forcing our disruptive energy into a fixed, repetitive pattern is like making a dragon race at the racetrack. Instead, the energy needs to build, flash, and grow within the storm.

🌈 Creative takeaway: there is no creativity without struggle.

Let's forget serenity, comfort, formality, and routines. A love without arguments has something wrong. A friendship based on conventions is not a true friendship. A project that doesn't make us struggle, doesn't even make us excited.
We must dive into spontaneity, the constant struggle to be ourselves, to do what we love with true passion.
It's the only way to want to live every day differently, creatively.

With ❤️,
Matteo
