Creative Bulletin n.315
In this period we’re doing a thousand things.
There’s the preparation for the launch of How to Lead a Creative Life, and the e-learning platform, and the search for teachers, and the implementation of a new business model, and... and... and...
Every now and then I feel so excited and overwhelmed by the sheer range of possibilities that my thoughts start racing too fast, and I can’t keep up with them. I wish I could do much more.
A compass. What’s helping me is not so much stopping (because I don’t feel the need for that), but asking myself:
“What is it that attracts you most in this long to-do list? What would bring you the most joy to focus on?”
When I follow the answer, getting to work becomes such a pleasure 😊
🌈 Creative takeaway: let’s follow our inner teacher
If we listen to ourselves, we know exactly what we need: at a restaurant, our eyes fall on the right dish on the menu, our hand naturally reaches for the shirt we truly want to wear, and our heart beats with a stronger energy when we devote ourselves to what we need in that moment!
Our inner teacher is always within earshot.
And, as it happens, when we trust it and listen, we find we’ve taken another step in exactly the right direction for us.
With ❤️,
Matteo
P.S.
The image above is a web app I created with Claude Code to help me solve a problem that was driving me crazy. I hadn’t had that much fun in a long time.
