Creative Bulletin n.320
Yesterday we launched How to Lead a Creative Life. It’s been going amazingly well: we hit our goal within just a few hours. Thank you so much ❤️

You have to be a little “foolish.” A few evenings ago, a man I know noticed the dark circles under my eyes and asked if I’d been working a lot.
I nodded, and he said, “Well, I hope you’re at least making good money.”
I laughed. “I don’t know. I’ll find out in a few days”.
He looked at me, unsure whether I was joking or just a bit foolish.
Later, I found myself thinking about it: I spent a year working on this book—I illustrated it, designed it, had it translated. It took several thousand hours of work.
And I still have no idea how it will turn out 😅
Yes, from a rational point of view, it probably does seem a bit foolish.
🌈 Creative takeaway: let’s bet on our dreams
Spending your time on personal projects—writing books, films, music—without any guarantee they’ll lead to something tangible is, yes, wonderfully foolish and a little crazy.
The real driving force behind a creative life isn’t methods, techniques, or discipline; it’s the dreams and visions we fall in love with.
It’s a big gamble, one that can make us tune out that anxious voice of reason whispering, “Are you really sure???”
This book is dedicated to all of you who feel ready to take that gamble ❤️
With love,
Matteo
