Creative Bulletin n.210
Wednesday morning I left for Lisbon where I will spend the next two months🚀 And yes, I went with Sole, who received a lot of compliments at the airport and who was – surprisingly – such a good boy for the whole trip ❤️
If you are in Lisbon or if you have any advice, interesting people or situations to know about, I am all ears 🙏
Deadlines. Knowing that my trip was right around the corner and that I might not be able to do a bunch of things that I had planned – like carving the canvases for Creative Ambush’s cover, and shoot some videos that had to show Turin. – In the last five days I crammed everything that I had left behind. It was brutal, LOL!
It reminded me of the importance of establishing deadlines for ourselves. I kept on complaining about not having time but in the end I managed to do everything.
🐈🐈🐈 What we learned this week
The last few days before I left, I worried about whether Sole would be okay, whether I would be okay, whether this trip was necessary after all, and whether I wouldn't be better off locking myself up at home in Turin 😅
Yet yesterday I was so happy to do this thing with Sole! I was excited to see that not only it was possible but also that we were good at it (we looked cute at the airport).
🌈 Creative takeaway: we’re here to experiment
Why take ourselves out of our comfort zone and jump into the unknown? To discover how we feel in another dimension. I, for one, never thought I would be so happy sitting next to Sole on the floor, waiting at the gate.
Yet I was right where I belonged...
In short, without experimentation, life is a bore 😘
