Creative Bulletin n.238
Yesterday, I met with Lino, our marketing manager, to work on the new Sefirot strategies. We’d promised ourselves we’d take a selfie for the bulletin, but, as usual, we forgot 😅 I made up for it by throwing in a picture of the mountains instead.
Sefirot in Schools. Yes, that’s right: we’re actively working to bring our products into high schools, particularly Fabula, Cicero, and BAD. Our goal is to offer training programs for teachers, so they can introduce these tools to their students 💪
The Creative Itch. This morning, I wrote a few pages of my novel and found myself pacing back and forth in the kitchen, almost in desperation, searching for the perfect line for a character. Later, I moved on to work on a new branding product, and once again, I couldn’t sit still as I tried to figure out how to make the entire system click. Right after that, I did a quick brainstorming session for naming another product, and while doing that, it hit me: wouldn’t it be useful to have a tool just for product naming? Once again, I found myself unable to sit still.
It’s like an itch, an almost enjoyable kind of irritation—the pursuit of the right phrase, the perfect solution, that missing piece. It pulls you in, and you can’t let go. And honestly, it never really disappears. The itch only fades once the work is done (and sometimes, not even then!)
🌈 Creative Takeaway: Embrace Naivety
If we waited around for those “genius” solutions, we’d never move forward. Most of the ideas, phrases, and solutions that come to us initially may feel ordinary, uninspired, or off, but they are what keep us moving forward.
We have to trust them, take that step, and say: "Alright, I’ll follow this, and worst case, I can always backtrack later."
This is the beauty of embracing naivety—it’s the only thing that really makes sense. Trying to be too clever with creativity won’t get you far 😘
With ❤️,
Matteo
