Creative Bulletin n.345

About ten days ago, my cat Sole passed away. His body now rests next to Sefirot, beneath a newly planted hazelnut tree. His spirit is somewhere bright, playing with a little ball, and I know he'll keep guiding me through my dreams and journeys.
I recently learned that cats have no sense of time. They don't know whether they've lived a short or a long life.
Sole doesn't know he only lived seven and a half years. All that mattered to him was the present, being loved, and getting to spend entire days sitting on top of me.
This thought has helped me a lot. What matters isn't the loss, but the life we had together. Taking him everywhere with me, sharing our everyday routines. When I said goodbye, I told him that the pain I was feeling was nothing compared to all the love he'd brought into my life.
🌈 Takeaway: Accepting our limits so we can move beyond them
I've spent the past week torturing myself with questions. Why did this happen? What does it mean? What did I do? And so on. As I often do, I tried to find some meaning in what happened. Of course, I couldn't.
The last time I lost a cat, it happened just two days before I went to the notary to officially set up the company (which is actually how the company got its name). It took me years to realize that maybe it wasn't just a coincidence.
I guess all we can do is accept things as they come, trust that somehow, in ways we can't understand, we're always on the right path, keep our hearts open even when we're angry and sad, and see where this journey takes us 🌹
With love,
Matteo

Have a beautiful journey, my love. Writing with you on my lap was one of the greatest joys of my life ❤️
