Creative bulletin n.180

Weโ€™re about to print a new batch of Fabula (๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰) and we decided to try a hard pack for the occasion. The one in the photo is the prototype we made ourselves to test the graphic design (designers, always print as you design ๐Ÿ˜‚) We can't wait to see the actual ones!

๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ What weโ€™ve been up tp

  • BAD is getting closer and closer. Yes! BAD has left our suppliers' premises, and in a few weeks it will arrive in the warehouses and will be ready to be shipped. At the same time we'll be filming BAD PRO, the course for a professional use of the tool. Thanks again to those who supported us on Kickstarter ๐Ÿ™
  • New videos are coming. We're arranging to shoot some short video tutorials to be broadcast on YouTube (some of you will think ยซIt was about time!ยป ๐Ÿ˜‚)
  • The team is growing. Letโ€™s all welcome Francesco who will be our Strategist. Alignment calls are starting to get crowded and itโ€™s so cool โค๏ธ
  • We're everywhere. I went to Web Marketing Fest in Rimini over the weekend, and a third of the people I talked to had heard about our products (or had bought them!). Weโ€™re the best of nightmares!
๐ŸŒˆ Creative takeaway: letโ€™s celebrate
Every Wednesday I hold intรนiti sessions at my home in Turin, and last week one of the topics we covered was misery. A friend of mine wanted to work on his dissatisfaction and it turned out that...he somehow likes to feel miserable.
I think it's a common problem. We end up focusing more on the things that are not working: I don't have enough clients, I'm worried about next semester, I'd like to do more, I'd like to do less, etc. And, even if something good happens, we cover it with a new concern that becomes more important. What happens is that our day is likely to be miserable because in fact we have done everything in our power to feel exactly like that ๐Ÿ˜‚
๐Ÿ‘‰ Letโ€™s try to do the opposite. If you scroll up and read the bulletin again, in the first part I put a lot of effort into celebrating the good things that are happening (despite having so much to worry about ๐Ÿ˜‚)
The fact is, if we focus on the distressing things, our days become terrible. If, on the other hand, we find a reason to go buy a good bottle of wine, or to treat someone to dinner, in short if we celebrate something, the worst that can happen is that we spent an unplanned cheerful evening.
And isnโ€™t that the ultimate reason why we want things to go well? ๐Ÿ˜‰

With โค๏ธ,
Matteo
