Together with Lino, our marketing manager, we’re recording the second episode of our Surviving with… course series (with Sole supervising us, of course 😂).

This time, we’ll be talking about how to manage Meta Ads!

A busy few weeks ahead

We have quite a few new things coming in October:

• We’ll be launching AdLighter, our first fully digital tool, which we hope will help hundreds of creatives promote their projects.
• We also have a few courses coming out, including the one with Lino and another one on worldbuilding (for writers), which our education manager Paola has been working really hard on.

I’m not that happy. Whenever I get close to launching a product, I seem to lose interest in it. It’s almost as if I’m suddenly not so sure about it anymore, or I just don’t like it as much as I used to.

The truth is, I’ve never really enjoyed the final part of a project, when it’s time to present it and sell it. Even when things go really well, I’d still trade that moment for the days I spent writing the book or working on the product itself.

Yesterday I actually started wondering if there was something wrong with me haha, because at times like these I almost have to force myself to be excited and celebrate. I often find myself trying to reconnect with the excitement I felt while I was creating.

🌈 Creative takeaway: it’s our creativity we should celebrate

If there’s one thing I’ve learned firsthand, it’s that we can never know whether something we create will actually get made or published, or whether it’ll be successful (we have no control over that). But no one can ever take away the joy of writing, painting, building something.

Maybe I’ll never see my book sitting on a shelf but, damn it, I’ll always be able to sit down in a café and write.

That’s what we should raise a glass to every single day.
