Creative Bulletin n.347

This weekend, I worked on something really exciting: an AI-powered version of Edito, our editing tool.
It runs locally, works with Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools, and walks you through a thorough revision of your manuscript. I've been using it to polish one of my novels, and I'm honestly blown away by the results 😊
The evolution. The idea came to me on Saturday morning while I was meditating, and looking back, it seems almost obvious. Until now, we've been creating visual frameworks (like Fabula) to help people improve their creative process. But what if we started building visual frameworks for the AI tools we're all bringing into our everyday lives?
The journey. Over the past six months, I've spent a lot of time building AI tools (like ByeByePromo and AdLighter). It's been a great way to explore what AI can actually do, but it's also given me a front-row seat to everything that's fueling this bubble: the hype, the empty promises, the obsession with making easy money, the risk of building things nobody really needs…
Along the way, I've realized something else: we all have access to incredibly powerful tools now, but most of us are still figuring out how to make the most of them. What we really need is a clear process (a funnel) and a visual interface (a dashboard) that makes everything easier to navigate. And that's exactly what we at Sefirot are good at 😉
🌈 Takeaway: trust the journey.
Last week, I was feeling pretty down. I started wondering whether I'd wasted all this time playing around with AI. I'd had fun, sure, but when I looked back, I couldn't point to anything I'd built that I was truly proud of.
Now I see things differently. All that experimenting was something I needed to go through, and I'm actually grateful for it. Without it, I wouldn't have learned how to use AI to create something that really makes a difference.
Sometimes, what feels like a wrong turn turns out to be exactly the road we needed to take.
I'll keep you posted on what happens next. I have a feeling things are about to get interesting 😉
With love,
Matteo
